This page is a design shell, not new legal language. The redesign preserves your existing Privacy Policy word-for-word. What changes is that it becomes readable — proper hierarchy, line length, and contrast — and that it’s reachable from every page, including the application forms where consent is actually collected.
What this policy should cover
Carry over your current text under these headings. The structure below matches what applicants and regulators expect to find, and what your forms already collect.
- Information you collect (name, email, phone, city and state, resume, and application responses)
- How SMS consent is obtained, what messages are sent, frequency, and how to opt out
- How application data is stored, who can access it, and how long it is retained
- Third parties involved in processing (your CRM, calendar, and hosting providers)
- Whether data is shared with American Income Life or any affiliated organization
- Applicant rights and how to request deletion
- Cookies and analytics used on the site
- Contact details for privacy questions
Why it matters here
Your application forms collect a phone number and obtain consent to send recurring text messages. That consent language, and the policy it points to, should match each other exactly. Right now the policy is two clicks away from the form on one page and reachable only from the footer on another.
What we changed
- The policy is linked directly beside the consent checkbox on every form
- Consistent typography and a readable measure — roughly 76 characters per line
- The same header, footer, and carrier identification as every other page
Confirm Have counsel review the existing policy against your current SMS practice, retention period, and any data shared with the carrier before this ships.
